Imago Mundi foundation set up in 2005 on the initiative of Cracovian photojournalists. Its aim is to popularize visual arts, photography in particular. It uses unconventional exhibition strategies and most recent technology.
One of Imago Mundi leading enterprizes is the coorganisation of the Month of Photography in Cracow, one of the greatest events of this type in Europe. The foundation organizes gallery and open air exhibitions, workshops, film shows and meetings with authors. Imago Mundi is now engaged in the creation of collector's photography and dynamically growing free reading room of audiovisual magazines from all over the world.
